Mogadishu, (insidesomalia.org) - The situation of the areas where confrontations took place yesterday is reported tranquil today but search operation jointly carried by Ethiopian troops and the Somali government soldiers are underway.

The destinations where the battle occurred yesterday include the former Somali defense building, and around the premises of the Somali military offices.

These two forces have gone inside the villages and ransacked each and every house in the area.

These joint forces have halted all the vehicles, which were going to Soukh Hola and usually taking their en route near these places where the combat occurred yesterday.

Most of the inhabitants of these areas have earlier fled from their house after frequent combats between forces from the Islamic Courts Union and the Ethiopian troops sided by the Somali government soldiers.

In most cases Ethiopian troops along with Somali soldiers carry out joint search operations at the houses in the area where fighting occurred between them and the insurgents, and it is not the first time for these two sides to implement such operation at the industrial street in the Northern direction of the Somali capital Mogadishu
